Youth Entrepreneurship Opportunity in Nigeria

Sometimes we often overlook the importance of entrepreneurship and we let it slip through the crack. Indeed, Youth Unemployment has remained stubbornly high and I think it is time to take a closer look seriously on this issue in attempt to help fix Young Nigeria.

We need to partner with organizations to promote entrepreneurial education, increase access to capital for start ups, and encourage Youth Entrepreneurship -- all in hopes of addressing youth unemployment.

I think we need to have a re-orientation of our youths from the same old idea 'work hard, go to school, get good grades, get a good job' mindset," to a entrepreneurial model - Being your own boss, creating businesses and eventually creating job opportunities for others.

Educating Nigeria's younger generations about entrepreneurship certainly sounds nice, but it's not the only thing (or even the primary issue) keeping young Nigerians from going out on their own. Scarce access to start up capital causes a chicken and egg dilemma. We need to push for legislation's by our Government to encourage, support and promote small business owners.

It is time for us to Inspire and Motivate our Youths to start taking advantage of all the opportunities available around them. Africa is an emerging market meaning that Nigeria is one of the countries with business growth opportunities - Young Nigerians need not be afraid and intimidated by young start-up Entrepreneurs like Mark Zuckerberg (FACE BOOK), Biz Stone and Evan Williams (TWITTER) for they all started with a business idea and an ability to dream big.

I urge Young Nigerian Entrepreneurs like myself to all come together with one goal of promoting Youth Entrepreneurship Opportunity in Nigeria, Organize workshops to educate our Youths on Small Business Ownership, as well as engaging big Organizations and our Governments  -  all in hopes of addressing Youth Unemployment.

SPEAKING

What is considered to be the best motivational speeches is something that is a very personal choice. After all, what might motivate one person might not motivate another simply because it might not necessarily be what the two people need to hear. There are so many famous best motivational speeches that it's hard to sort through them all. Some of them happen in poems and stories while others might happen in toasts and sport functions. The speakers can be anyone from your next door neighbor to someone as well known and important as Steve Jobs.

Speaking is something that many people don't really understand. In truth, doing it professionally is an art form. You don't need to work every day at writing and creating speeches to be a professional, you just have to be in a position in which you have the opportunity to change something for someone and you can explain to the area or to those who can help that person why they should be doing it. Though this seems like it might be something very childish just due to that description, in truth speakers are not anything like that.
All that you really need to have, the ability to make a motivational speech is the ability to, the understanding of what you need to do, the accurate and correct information about your speech, and last, but not least, the passion to drive that speech home. Most people probably wouldn't think of poems as being something that would allow them to see motivational speeches. Then again, even more would probably doubt that football would allow the same thing. In truth, great motivational speeches aren't a thing of the past: many people still giving wonderful motivational speeches, it's just that people are not listening to them as much as they used to do.

Having a motivational speech explained in front of you might even make you feel that little bit of happy and motivated than it's done its job. That's why motivational speeches, like many other types, are actually something that varies from person to person as far as what's the best because it happens to be a very personal.

Let us Inspire the Youths

The Nigerian Youths are Smart, Bright, Strong, Intelligent and Strong willed, but we need to do more and inspire these Young ones.
The one common denominator with the Young ones regardless of their home lives, ages or other factors is their need to be reassured.  How is this best achieved? How do we provide guidance and serve as inspiration for kids we only know on a peripheral level?
Sometimes, we can think back to our own turning points and pinpoint exactly when it was we decided to pursue something as our life's work. It could've been encouragement from a mother who insisted that natural aptitude for figuring out how and why things work would serve us well in our lives. The fact is, we never know when a kind word can make the difference in a child's life. And if it's really as simple as that and if we believe we have a responsibility to our young people, why would we not take every opportunity to check in with those young folks and lend those reassurances.

Sometimes I think my life would make a great TV movie. It even has the part where they say, "Stand by. We are experiencing temporary difficulties." ~Robert Brault,

We need to remember that the Youths are watching and looking at us daily as we live our lives, I urge us most especially Nigerians in diaspora with some form of western exposure to give back, to live a life of Inspiration, lead by examples, Encourage someone to be inspired into doing something great.

Your Next

It is about 2am Eastern Standard Time, relaxing on my love-seat and watching the global news on CNN, a huge part of the news was about world economy. A lot of nations are struggling economically which in turn has a negative impact on businesses and citizens. In this struggling economy I feel it is very important for individuals to have a solid immediate and future plans.
Your Next could mean a lot things to different people and I would like to involve my readers, friends and fans to discuss and comment about this.

Your Next could mean - Creating your next customer! Creating your next big Idea! Creating your next position for making more money! Creating your next dress! Creating your next jewelery! and so on.
My idea of Your Next is that - DO NOT let anybody or someone else create Your Next, create your own next by taking ownership and control of your life. Set goals and objectives for yourself, determine your next move and when to move on, equip yourself, add more value to yourself through consistent re-evaluation of your intellectual property which makes you buy-able.

World Shaker

A World Shaker never runs a regular schedule with everybody. When most folks go to sleep at about 10pm at night, A World Mover is up thinking and working towards the next big step. Appreciate Life and take it with utmost seriousness, for Life is like a game that you don't want to lose. "Life is a game, Play to win".
I learn a lot through listening before speaking and therefore, listening skills over time will bring forth words of wisdom when you speak.

Branding is Beyond Image

When you look in the mirror who do you see? Branding is definitely not Image, Branding is you knowing yourself and your audience. Branding is about authenticity - you need to know how people see you with your consistencies.
When you know how people see you, you will realize that you are here for some people and that it is not really about you but to help others and leave a positive impact and a great legacy.
A high worth Brand must be very Innovative, must possess intellectual property and values.
