A lot of people have greatness in them that’s been deposited in them from birth by our CREATOR but fail to realize their full potential and the full capacity of their greatness because of FEAR. The question is: What are we afraid of? What are we scared of? A great speaker (Les Brown) said it best, most people are afraid of two things in life, 1) the fear of failure – what if I fail in taking a risk, or what if I fail in starting a business? and 2) the fear of great success – what if I succeed and I attain massive success would I be able to manage the success?
The only thing we have to fear is
FEAR itself – (President Franklin Roosevelt). So what if you fail? You only get
better learning from your mistakes, you pick yourself up and take a look at
what led to your failure so that you don’t make such mistakes again. Most
successful people today have failed several times in their journey to becoming
great as we so know them to be today. And if you become so successful, why
allow fear to scare you of being able to manage your success? Remember! You
know how you overcame obstacles and difficult situations on your way to
success, so apply that same courage to manage your success and also hire the
best of the best to work for you and to work on your areas of weakness.
So which one do you choose? Allow
fear to stop you from trying at all? Or be courageous and tackle fear itself,
learn as you go, grow and develop yourself, follow your passion and focus on
your goals? It is very obvious I chose the latter I will be courageous, because
the greatest regret in life is “never trying at all”
COURAGE is fear that has said it
prayers – (Karl Barth) A courageous act often brings unexpected positive
results and know that nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be
understood. You are your greatest asset or detriment, our limitations in life
are self-imposed therefore work on yourself!
It is possible that you can do
anything and achieve any success in life, you need to work on yourself,
surround yourself with winners, your goals are possible, don’t give up on your
dream, don’t stop running towards your dream. Your life expands in proportion
to your courage and show of courage by a leader inspires.
Life is hard, you will encounter
some challenges and disappointments in reaching your goals, it’s not going to
be easy sometimes but remember you have greatness in you, be courageous and
don’t let fear steal your dream.
I leave you with three great quotes
from one of my favorites motivational speakers of all time who wrote the
“Strangest Secrets” (Earl Nightingale).
·
What’s ironic is that those who don’t have the
courage to take risks and those who do, experience the same amount of fear in
life. The only difference is that those who don’t take chances worry about
trivia things.
·
Don’t major in minor things, your dedication to
potential must remain stronger than your desire to appease others.
·
Courage open doors and remember success is
connected with action so don’t quit until you win.
